Pre-market: Sensex to open range-bound amid muted global cues: 16/03/2015

The BSE’s 30-share benchmark index- Sensex is expected to open in green on Monday, but the market gains are soon likely to be capped in the absence of any triggering cues from the Asian markets as well as the domestic front. In the overnight trading, US stocks ended in red as investors turned cautious on mixed economic data and lower oil prices. Among the Asian stocks, most of the markets were trading marginally up led by Japan’s Nikkei 225 and China’s Shanghai Composite, which were trading up by 37 and 29 points, respectively in the early trading session.
