Pre-market: Sensex to open flat as key Asian markets remain closed for Ching Ming festival: 06.04.2015

After remaining closed for two consecutive trading sessions, the BSE’s 30-share benchmark index is expected to open on a flat note on Monday as some of the key markets continued to stay in festive mode. While the US celebrated Good Friday, most of the Asian markets remained idle on Monday on account of the Ching Ming Festival. Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading in red, down by 36 points at 19,398 in the early trading session. Singapore’s Straits Times was also trading marginally down by 0.89 points at 3,452, while KOSPI was slightly up by 3 points at 2,048.
