The Indian benchmark indices slipped in the negative terrain in the late morning deal on Tuesday, weighed down by losses in capital goods and pharma stocks, tracking weak cues from Asia peers. Idea Cellular rallied over 7 per cent after the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the proposed merger between Vodafone India. Among others, Bharti Infratel soared nearly 4 per cent after the company’s consolidated revenue rose by 10 per cent to Rs 3,524 crore in Q1 FY18 from Rs 3,211 crore in Q1 FY17.
