Markets across Asia were trading mixed while Japan's Nikkei share edged higher amid expectations that the Bank of Japan would buy more exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as part of its easy monetary policy. On Friday, Wall Street settled lower on Friday as most of investors remained away from their desk ahead of the Christmas holiday.
