* ASIAN PAINTS: PT Asian Paints Indonesia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berger International, which is an indirect subsidiary of the company, started operations at its 5,000 tn per year-capacity plant in Jawa Barat region in Indonesia on Tuesday.

* CIPLA: Some of its promoters and promoter group along with their relatives have entered into an agreement on transfer of their shares in the company.

* HIMACHAL FUTURISTIC COMMUNICATIONS: Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo-Emerging Markets Quality Fund has bought 11.08 mln shares of the company, representing 0.9% stake, at 23.92 rupees apiece, in a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

* HINDALCO INDUSTRIES: Will invest in new capacities for auto component offerings from its Canadian arm Novelis and expand manufacturing lines to grow auto shipments to a quarter of the total production capacity.

* IDBI BANK: Will cut some of its marginal cost of fund-based lending rates by 5-10 basis points, the lender informed the exchanges.

* INDIABULLS HOUSING FINANCE: Has bought back 1,000 non-convertible debentures maturing in August 2019, following a buyback of 250 such papers on Tuesday.

* INDIAN BANK: To reduce its marginal cost of funds-based lending rates by 15 basis points across tenures, effective today.

 - Arm Reliance Jio made several records not only in India but across the globe and crossed 130 mln
customers' mark in one year of its operations, Chairman Mukesh Ambani said. BHARTI AIRTEL has written to TRAI saying that Reliance Jio was continuously trying to distort facts at various platforms to "show other operators in bad light and create policy bias in its favour".
