Indian benchmark indices are likely to open lower on Friday, tracking bearish cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and mixed trend across global markets, amid disappointment over the Union Budget which failed to balance between fiscal discipline and reforms. Overseas, markets across Asia were trading mixed after Wall Street ended mostly lower in overnight trade, weighed down by disappointing US corporate earnings. Back home, bearish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for February delivery, which were trading at 10,931.00, down by 117.00 points.
