Pre Session: Gap down opening seen for Sensex, Nifty; Airtel, Maruti, Yes Bank results eyed

Indian equities may open lower on Thursday, tracking bearish trends in SGX Nifty Index Futures and weak cues from global peers. Overseas, the Asian stocks were trading lower, after Wall Street ended sharply lower in overnight trade, as investor weighed mixed corporate earnings and comments from industrial companies that trade conflicts have raised material costs. Back home, bearish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for October delivery, which were trading at 10,136, down by 101.00 points.
