* AUTOMOBILE: India's stuttering passenger car market may shrink by up to 7% by 2021 as diesel cars become costlier and Maruti Suzuki completely stops selling diesel cars by next year.
* BANKING: The Supreme Court has given the Reserve Bank of India "one last opportunity" to reveal information sought under the Right to Information Act pertaining to banks' annual inspection reports and list of defaulters.
-The Reserve Bank of India will soon issue new banknotes of 20-rupee denomination, in "greenish
yellow" colour.
* E-COMMERCE: Online retail major Amazon has said it had to face downtime in India owing to recent changes in the country's e-commerce regulations.
* FAST-MOVING CONSUMER GOODS: PepsiCo India on Friday said it was open to an out-of-court settlement, on its terms, with potato growers of Gujarat against whom it had filed a suit for growing FL2027 or FC5 variety of potatoes, which the global firm claims to have exclusive rights to.
-Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has signed an agreement to acquire Splash Corp, a Philippinesbased personal care company.
* OIL & GAS: Oil prices fell the most since December as US President Donald Trump pressed the
Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to lower prices, and doubts grew about the impact of supply squeezes from Russia and Iran.
