Pre Session: Sensex, Nifty to open flat; Mindtree shares in focus

The Indian domestic benchmark indices may open flat on Thursday and be volatile as Futures and Options (F&O) contracts for June series expire today. Additionally, indices could track global developments to steer course. Asian markets were busy going nowhere on Thursday as confusion shrouded the chances of any progress in the Sino-US trade standoff ahead of the G20 Summit slated to begin tomorrow. On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 11 points to settle at 26,537 during the overnight trade on Wednesday. Back home, bullish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for June delivery, which were trading at 11,874.00 up by 5.00 points.
