* AUTOMOBILE: Revolt Intellicorp, an independent venture by Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, has unveiled India's first fully-electric motorcycle RV 400. A week after opposing NITI Aayog's recommendations on adaptation of electric vehicles, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers has prepared a white paper on use of alternative fuels in the country.
* AVIATION: Growth in domestic air passenger traffic rebounded with a 3% on-year rise to 12.2 mln in May.
* LOGISTICS: Cargo movement along the country's coastline will be streamlined in order to reduce the dependence on roads and railways, Shipping Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.
* POWER: Wind power capacity in India will go up by 3.5 GW to 4.0 GW in 2019-20 (Apr-Mar), supported by large projects awarded by nodal agencies and measures being taken to address some key challenges.
* REAL ESTATE: Blackstone Group has agreed to acquire from Radius Group 700,000 sq ft of prime office space in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex for 25 bln rupees.
* TAXATION: The GST Council, which is scheduled to meet on Friday, will focus on compliance issues, two finance ministry officials said. The proposal to form appellate branches to expedite resolution of cases may also
be taken up.
