* AUTOMOBILE: BMW's India subsidiary has launched the flagship sport utility model, the BMW X7, starting at 9.89 mln rupees in two engine variants.
* CORPORATE: The Tata Group has infused more than 11.50 bln rupees equity into the group's consumer businesses across retail, e-commerce and white goods in the first quarter of this financial year.
* NON-BANKING FINANCIAL COMPANIES: The National Company Law Tribunal has stayed for 10 days its earlier order adding the auditors of IL&FS Financial Services as respondents in the oppression and mismanagement case involving Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services.

* OIL AND GAS: India has urged Saudi Arabia to work towards balancing oil markets as volatility in crude oil prices is having an adverse impact on the Indian economy, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in a series of tweets after a meeting Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Khalid Al Falih.
* TAXATION: The GST Council meeting, which was scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed to a later date due to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's "preoccupation" with the ongoing session of Parliament.
