* BANKING: The expert committee set up to review the economic capital framework of the Reserve Bank of India will consider all risk factors that the central bank can face before suggesting any surplus transfer to the government, said Bimal Jalan, head of the panel.
* INFRASTRUCTURE: AustralianSuper, Australia's largest superannuation fund, and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Canada's largest single-profession pension plan, will invest $1 bln each in the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund of India's Master Fund.
* REGULATORY: National Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange have received exemptions from market regulators in India and Singapore for their proposed joint trading platform--NSE-IFSC-SGX Connect--based in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City.
