Pre Session- Sensex to open little changed amid subdued Asia trend

The key domestic benchmarks are likely to open on a muted note today tracking a bearish trend in Asian markets amid concerns over the region’s two biggest economies. i.e. Japan which has plunged into a recession and China where manufacturing activity came to a halt in November, curbing the appetite for risky assets. China’s Shanghai Composite and Hang Seng were trading tad lower as investors continued to digest weak factory data which showed that a private manufacturing gauge hit a six-month low this month. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell as a stronger yen dimmed the appeal of exporter stocks, as the country’s Finance Minister said that the yen’s drop was rather too fast. Back home, markets may remain in consolidation mode after surging to record highs in recent sessions with the next major cues on offer being the Winter Session of Parliament beginning November 24, and the RBI’s policy meet on December 2, 2014.
