Pre Session: Sensex, Nifty to open positive; Wipro shares in focus

The domestic benchmark indices are likely to open on a positive note on Tuesday taking cues from global cues. Asian stocks hovered below a nine-month peak on Tuesday after disappointing bank earnings dented Wall Street, though recent signs the global economy is likely to avoid a sharper downturn helped limit the losses. The European Union gave the green light to start trade negotiations with the US, as both economies seek to rebuild frayed relations a week after threatening each other with billions of dollars in new tariffs over a 14-year-old aviation dispute. Back home, bullish trends on the SGX Nifty Index Futures for April delivery, which were trading at 11,764.00, up by 27.00 points.
